The ESLOnTheWeb site is specifically designed for migrant/refugee learners of English as a Second Language enrolled at a tertiary college of education in Perth, Western Australia.

Every three months a new 10-week course commences with a new intake of students.

The purpose of this website is to encourage productive and stimulating use of the internet, as well as provide learners with opportunities to further develop strategies for autonomous learning. It provides links to relevant sites that support the work done in class and extend the learner at the appropriate level of English language proficiency.

This site also serves to provide additional information to learners to assist them fulfil course requirements, such as projects and assignments.
Furthermore, this website provides teachers with information and links to assist in the development of teaching strategies for use in the classroom and possibly online delivery.
